LOS DESAHUCIOS DISMINUYEN EN LOS 6 PRIMEROS MESES DEL 2013. Zahara de los Atunes afectada sólo en un 0,05 %.

El Consejo General del Poder Judicial señaló que los juzgados en toda España han realizado hasta Junio del 2013 un 13,4 % menos de desahucios, lo cual no deja de ser una buena noticia, ante los últimos desagradables incidentes con suicidios por medio. Según los Registradores de la Propiedad el año pasado los bancos se quedaron con 30.034 casas. En Zahara de los Atunes, el registro de embargos fue muy pequeño,  aproximadamente 150 casas repartidas entre Barbate, Zahara y Atlanterra  (término de Tarifa) que depende del Registro de la Propiedad nº 2 de Algeciras.

El Poder Judicial señaló que en el primer trimestre del 2013 se produjeron 21.272 deshaucios, cifras muy por debajo de las correspondientes a las mismas fechas del 2012. Se cree que este descenso en el número de embargos tiene que ver mucho con el Código de nuevas prácticas que el Gobierno de Rajoy puso en marcha en el primer trimestre del 2012. Sin embargo este código  tardó en arrancar, produciendo un estrechamiento en las economías domésticas más desfavorecidas.  Los apartamentos en Zahara de los Atunes más perjudicados, fueron los que solicitaron préstamos para remodelación de viviendas, compras a precios de la burbuja inmobiliaria y personas mayores de 55 años.
